In March 2008 I spent a week collecting geckos in the mountainous region north and east of Chiclayo, Peru.  With American colleague Tony Gamble and Peruvian student Carlos Raul Miranda Taboada, I visited several sites ranging from sandy beaches to lush valleys, like the site pictured to the left near Olmos.  Below are pictures of some of the interesting finds.
